Our client is a European Infrastructure Manager with global expansion plans. For their new created Value Creation team, we are looking for a Director to take care of new and existing portfolio companies. This role requires strong communication skills, with an ability to engage across a range of portfolio businesses, understand different business models and work proactively with the respective CEO's of each portfolio business on strategy and value-driving initiatives. As such we are seeking a strategic thinker with an affinity with the Infrastructure/Energy Transition sector, preferably Transportation. Strong analytical skills, extensive financial expertise, and experience in managing operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work alongside the investment team to develop and manage the portfolio companies.

Portfolio Management:

Monitor and implement the business plan
Value creation work for portfolio companies
Establish, and manage relationship with the C-level potential investors and business partners in the Middle East
Build business network and ecosystem within the Transportation and Energy field with long-lasting relationships

Involved in the operational due diligence process of new companies/investments
Identify potential business opportunities within the portfolio companies

>Project Management:

Actively involved in the operational due diligence on potential investments and project finance
Lead or coordinate and negotiate with the different stakeholders of the
Present business recommendations to the executive committee and CEO

>Leadership:

Build strong relationships with portfolio company C-level
Lead strategy in financial and operational optimization and valuation
Drive Financial best practice across the SETF Portfolio
Part of the Board of portfolio companies

>Financial Planning:

Collaborate with the finance committee and working with the relevant internal colleagues and the board of directors, ensure each portfolio company delivers annual budget and revised 5-year plan within the expected time-frame

Advise team members of relevant market information

Investment Director role in European Infrastructure Manager|Promising career opportunity


Master's degree in business administration engineering or science an MBA is a plus
10+ years of experience in an Investment or Senior leadership role within an Energy or Transportation company
Proven track record in financial management, operational execution and due diligence or corporate M&A experience within an infrastructure company
Top tier strategy consulting or Private Equity, Infrastructure background preferably in combination with corporate experience within a transportation company
Deep understanding, knowledge and insight of the market, preferably has already well-established good business connections in the Energy, transportation field
Excellent networking skill and persuasive conversation skill, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with senior management both internally and externally
Experience in project finance execution is an advantage
Hands-on, self-starter with a pragmatic approach and the ability to do things by him/herself, autonomously
Integrity and loyalty and strong people skills to adapt to different cultures
Self-driven entrepreneurial mindset
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information various stakeholders
Fluent in English, German is an advantage
