Director Corporate Banking Sector Lead Healthcare

Our client is a globally recognized financial institution with a strong presence in offering a
oad range of corporate and investment banking services. Due to the successful development of the Bank we are searching for a new created Director role to build their build Healthcare & Pharmaceutical business in Switzerland. We are seeking an experienced Director, Corporate Banker to lead coverage for the Pharma & Healthcare sector in Switzerland. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in corporate banking, excellent client relationship management skills, and the ability to originate and execute complex transactions. This role reports to the Head of Corporate Banking, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will engage with Group Treasury and C-suite executives of key Pharma & Healthcare clients, drive the bank's growth strategy, and act as a leader within the sector.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing Pharma & Healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with the organizations strategic goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong connections at senior levels, including Group Treasury and C-suite executives.
Identify and originate new business opportunities within the Pharma & Healthcare sector.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with client needs, market opportunities, and it's risk appetite.
Lead the origination, structuring, negotiation, and closing of new transactions.
Collaborate with product specialists across Transaction Services, Financial Markets, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and advisory teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Monitor developments within the Pharma & Healthcare industries and provide strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Actively contribute to the organisation's thought leadership initiatives in the sector.
Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support the team head in driving team results, developing talent, and nurturing a client-focused culture.
Ensure adherence to credit quality, KYC standards, and regulatory requirements for the portfolio.
Maintain high standards of professional integrity and risk awareness.

Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in corporate banking, with at least 3 years in a client role.
Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Background in M&A, Corporate Finance, Cash Management
Corporate M&A experience within a Pharma and/or Healthcare is an advantage
Established client relationships in the Pharma and/or Healthcare sector in Switzerland
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, including Transaction Services, Financial Markets, and DCM.
Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Results-driven mindset with a high level of professionalism and personal integrity.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of driving initiatives independently while fostering team collaboration.
Language skills German & English, both written and verbal
