Our client in Basel is seeking a Senior HR Business Analyst with Workday implementation experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in configuring Workday modules (Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Performance), report writing, and analytics (People Analytics, Prism Analytics), and have expertise in Workday security, process improvement, and Agile/Scrum teams.

The HR modernization program is preparing the HR unit for new processes and systems. The next phase will focus on implementing Advanced Compensation, Recruitment, Performance, and Talent Management, including identifying HR data and processes for improvement, updating procedures, and coordinating efforts under the Programme Manager's guidance.

Collecting and documenting HR procedures, processes, and data flow for the system transition
Proposing and implementing improvements to existing processes based on insights from HR colleagues
Leading Workday HCM configuration across various modules
Troubleshooting issues during Hyper Care
Gathering requirements, document designs, and evaluating change options
Documenting end-to-end business process flows
Developing functional specifications for integrations
Assisting with data preparation for design, testing, training, and production phases
Deploying new features in Workday and other technologies
Documenting requirements, configurations, test plans, and user acceptance criteria
Developing training content for the assigned functional area
Collaborating with HR functions to document reporting and dashboard requirements
Acting as a liaison between HR and IT for reporting and analytics needs
Providing technical consultation to business partners
Enhancing HCM data quality and drive continuous improvements


Temporary contract until March 2025 with high possibility of extension

Specialized as BA in HR/HRIS (recruitment, talent management, HRBP, operations)


+4 years as a Business Analyst in HR or HRIS, with experience in recruitment, talent management, HRBP, or operations
+4 years working with HR systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft) and handling sensitive processes and data
+4 years supporting HR data management across various client groups
Proven experience in resolving HR data issues and assisting with HR solution rollouts
Skilled in creating and delivering HR training content
Experienced in various testing phases (Unit, Functional, Integration, User Acceptance)
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with a strong ability to learn quickly
Workday Pro Certification would be highly desired
Knowledgeable about HR systems, service delivery principles, HR compliance, GDPR, and Workday HCM Advanced
Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and time management
Capable of managing multiple priorities, conducting effective research, and improving process efficiency
Versatile, proactive, client-focused, and committed to maintaining high ethical standards
