Amundi Luxembourg is recruiting for its subsidiary, Fund Channel.
We are a regulated B2B fund distribution platform created in 2005, jointly owned by Amundi and Caceis, based in Luxembourg. We have been ranked as the best European platform two years in a row, in 2022, 2023 and 2024. (source: Platforum).
Our mission is to provide a unique combination of value added services to facilitate fund distribution, strengthen transparency and improve processes. We built a marketplace ecosystem to which Assets Managers and Distributors have access, and operate across a dozen different countries in Europe and Asia; and have offices in Switzerland, Singapore, and Italy.
Fund Channel has more than EUR 330 billion of assets under intermediation providing a "one-stop-shop" solution for asset managers and distributors. Fund Channel services are based on solid human relationships, as well as high levels of automation.

MISSIONS
Within Fund Channel, the Business Development department is dedicated to drive growth of sales to new clients and revenues. Your role is to identify business opportunities and develop clients and revenues on the market you are in charge of, in collaboration with internal and group resources.
Your missions are as follows:
* Identify and target prospective clients within your markets, German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Eastern Europe, including retail banks, private banks, wealth managers, insurance companies, asset managers etc.
* Work closely with Group stakeholders to provide gather intelligence on accounts, prospects and general market activity and develop collaborative approaches for generating opportunities.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing opportunities.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of our solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
* Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts, understanding their business challenges and positioning our solutions as the optimal choice.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution demonstrations, customizing presentations to address the specific requirements and pain points of each client.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, pre-sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and client satisfaction.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting our industry, providing valuable insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
* Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and KPIs.
REQUIRED PROFILE
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Proven track record of success in a sales role for a distribution platform, asset manager or securities services provider.
* Strong understanding of the asset management and fund distribution market, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory landscape.
* Comfortable with setting and achieving targets and working within a structured sales organisation with strong processes and governance.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
* Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Fluency in spoken and written German and English is mandatory, good knowledge of French is a strong preference.
* Willingness / ability to travel within Europe as required.
