The Financial Solutions team is comprised of 25 reinsurance specialists who provide capital-motivated reinsurance solutions to optimize the capital positions and financial statements of our life insurance clients. We are multi-functional underwriters managing the end-to-end process of reinsurance transactions, including client pitches, client/broker communication, portfolio and experience analysis, pricing, structuring and modeling, term negotiation, internal approval, treaty review, and deal monitoring. We work closely with different functions within the company at all stages. With our team, you will develop solid knowledge in capital management and financial solutions while experiencing the entire process of how a reinsurance transaction is conducted!



As part of the Financial Solutions EMEA team, you will be working closely with the team to support in R&D and underwriting. The basic tasks include preparing marketing decks, performing regional benchmark analysis for SCOR's clients and local underwriters, conducting credit analysis on our clients, and performing data analysis on client's portfolio.
For the candidate who outperforms in the basic task, we will involve that person to more advanced tasks
including pricing, modeling, and structuring of deals.

* Prepare marketing presentations and analysis for local underwriters and client meetings,
* Conduct credit analysis and solvency analysis on our target clients,
* Participate in the structuring and pricing of Financial Solutions within SCOR's risk appetite,
* Assist in coordinating the management and execution of new business with internal teams (risk, pricing,finance, legal) as part of SCOR's internal validation process,
* Develop actuarial models,
* Follow change in regulation (Solvency 2, IFRS 17).

Qualifications

* Master 2 with a specialization in Actuary, Insurance, Consulting, or Finance,
* Fluent English is required (writing and speaking), Advanced French is preferred (speaking),
* The candidate should be at ease using Microsoft package, in particular Excel,
* Proficiency and experience in data analytics tool such as Power BI and Tableau will be a plus,
* The candidate should preferably have some knowledge of insurance regulation (e.g., Solvency II) and/or accounting standards (IFRS) and/or capital/risk management,
* The candidate should be self-motivated, self-starter, have the ability to work as part of a team, have good communication skills.

The position is to be filled starting January.
