Financial position for the commercial activities of the CA CIB Branch based in Brussels for Benelux zone: relating to Commercial Banking products (Trade & Export Finance, Corporate Loan Facilities and Cash Management).
The candidate reports to the responsible of Finance of the Branch, and will be in charge of Finance tasks.
Responsibilities
Finance Department of CA CIB Belgium Branch is in charge of control of accounting production and all financials reports to the regulator and to the Head Office, with respect of deadlines and capacity to analyse/explain main variations of financial figures.
Apply CA CIB Group accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare all financial reports with utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures, prepare and ensure monthly general expenses cut off, interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits, daily controls of accounting production
Main tasks
Daily accounting controls, monitoring of resolving accounting discrepancies in liaise with back offices platform (London & Paris), analysing FX position
Daily accounting system controls report, analysis and resolution in case of issues
Reconciliation of sensible accounts under Finance responsibility yc Payroll accounts
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
All Finance reports with respect of deadlines
Management, consolidation, ALM, regulatory reports (Schema A & Anacredit), Tax matters
Monitor/ Prepare documentation for CA CIB Belgium audit
Develop the annual operating budget
On exceptional cases and duly agreed internally, additional work may be undertaken by the employee
Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial institution or audit company.
Minimum three years university level
