2nd Level Supporter

On behalf of our client, a well-known company in the banking industry, Swisslinx are looking for a 2nd Level Supporter for a 12-month contract in Switzerland.

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 4+ years of experience in user/application support in Unix/Linux
- Can provide on-call service occasionally
- Fluent English
- Bachelor degree or completed apprenticeship in IT/Computer Science
- Experience in user/application support in Windows is a plus
- Banking experience and German skills are very beneficial

As the successful candidate, your tasks will include, but will not be limited to:
- Working on incidents in the software deployment and server build area and identifying incident root cause and resolve issues
- Working with internal IT customers and provide consulting services over the supported tools
- Working with engineering teams on new tools implementation
- Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures
